Day 01 : Bangalore – Horanadu (Night Journey)
Depart from Bangalore at Night 09:00 PM overnight drive to Horanadu. (Coffee/Tea break on the way). Reach Horanadu by 6 AM.
Day 02 : Horanadu – Kalasa – Sringeri – Agumbe (Sunset View) – Sringeri
On arrival at Horanadu, check in to the hotel for fresh up and at 6.00 AM visit to Annapoorneshwari Temple, the goddess of Food. Ancient temple of the goddess Annapoorneshwari here has been restored and renamed the Adi – Shaktyataka Shree Annapoorneshwari. The main deity of Annapoorneshwari is made of gold. Offer your prayers to get the divine blessings of Goddess of Food and at 7.30 AM have breakfast and coffee at temple dining hall. Then proceed to visit Kalaseshwara Temple at Kalasa - situated in Kalasa on the banks of Bhadra River. The Shiva linga present here has been installed by Sage Agasthya himself along with the silver dome. According to local tradition, Sage Agasthya halted at Kalasa, and saw the wedding Lord Shiva and Parvathi. A Shiva Linga appeared out of his Kalasha, the pot. He built a temple here and installed the Linga in it. Get the divine blessings.
Then drive to Sringeri - (Sringeri Sharada Peeta), the first mutt established by jagadguru Sri Adishankara (Shankracharya) and located on the banks of Tunga river. Sri Sharadamba temple and Sri Vidyashankara temple are prominent. On arrival at Sringeri, check in to the hotel then evening visit to Sri Sharadamba temple and offer prayers to Goddess of Knowledge and get her blessings. Then visit nearest Vidyshankara Temple and other shrines in the temple premises. Then you can have Lunch at temple dining hall. Return to the hotel and relax for some time. Evening at 4 PM, drive to Agumbe - nestled in the thickly forested Malenadu region of the Western Ghat mountains. Agumbe is popular for spectacular Sunset View. Return to Sringeri, overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03 : Sringeri - Belur - Halebid - Bangalore
Morning visit the temple again, offer prayers to Goddess and then return to the hotel, check out the hotel and then drive to Belur and Halebid, are two tiny but beautiful temple towns famous for Hoysala architecture. Then drive to Bangalore. On arrival at Bangalore, you will be transferred to Bangalore and drop at a designated point in Bangalore.
